Classes

​10/14 - Magick Talisman Class 2 - 4pm Asheville Raven and Crone
Cost: Free when you buy a Talisman Kit ($30)
​Creating small fiber art pieces that can used as talismans or given as gifts. No previous experience necessary.
Participants will:
  • Explore how slow-stitching techniques allow us to imbue our talismans with our intentions and cast spells.
  • Learn several simple stitches to embroider their pieces and add charms or forage items.
  • Use patchwork and visible mending techniques
  • Complete at least one talisman
  • Explore ways to use and display their completed talisman


10/26 - Beginner Embroidery Class 6 - 8pm
Olivette Farm and Community
Cost: $25 - kit included
Participants will
- Learn how to prepare their materials
- Practice several basic stitches
- Complete a small design

12/9 - Tarot Bag Class 2 - 5pm
The Well (3 Louisiana Ave, W.Asheville)
Cost $40 - all materials included
Make a bag to house your favorite Tarot or oracle deck or give as a gift. 
Participants will
  • Learn how to measure, cut and assemble a basic bag that can be used to house a tarot bag
  • Explore a variety of hand sewing techniques such as applique, embroidery and patchwork to create unique bag
  • Complete one bag

1/13 Altar Cloth Class - 1 - 5pm
The Well (3 Louisiana Ave, W.Asheville)
$50 - all materials included
Design and create an altar cloth for spiritual use.
Participants will: 
  • Explore how slow-stitching techniques allow us to imbue our altar cloths with spiritual meaning
  • Learn several simple stitches to embroider their pieces.
  • Use patchwork, applique, and visible mending techniques
