Art Events in and Around Asheville for December

This December, take a moment to reconnect with creativity and ideas with talks, exhibitions and craft fairs. 
Talks and Special Art Events
If you are looking for innovative art programming then you need to look to  Revolve and The Black Mountain College Museum and Arts Center. Revolve has a wonderfully varied progam through the month and into January including an exhibition: "The Art of Design: A Look at the history of a traditional graphic designer" and "CORE: A multi-media evening" on December 6th at 7:00 pm. BMCMAC is hosting "PERFORMANCE: Aspects of Butoh" on December 7th, a poetry reading on December 9th and "BOOK TALK + PERFORMANCE: Gallery Sound with Caleb Kelly, Pia van Gelder, Peter Blamey and Pete Speer"  on December 13th.
​Craft Fairs
This month CCD is hosting a holiday shop withe SHELTER, from December 1 - 3 pm.  From December 2nd to the 3rd the Big Crafty is taking place at US Cellular.
